AI-Generated Video: Welcome to the Future!

As you’ll see after reading this page, AI video is the ideal solution for agents who want video but hesitate to pay for full, human-operated video production. Those who would skip a traditional video because of the cost, find AI video an easy yes!

UNreal estate video?

A regular video is compiled from short video clips shot on a camera by a human, but AI video is compiled from video clips created from still photos.

AI brings homes to life by transforming photos into polished, captivating video that offer a dynamic, immersive view of the property.

AI “creates” the same movements that are used in regular video – push-in, pull-out, slide left/right, crane up/down, orbiting. And that is exactly what is needed for a high-quality, teaser-style video that sparks interest in the property and encourages viewers to book a showing.

AI doesn’t generate the entire video at once — it’s used only to “bring to life” individual photos. The human editor then assembles the final video in exactly the same way they would from footage shot by a camera: planning the scene flow, choosing the right cinemaric transitions, and syncing the visuals to the music (“edit to beat”). The result is highly engaging and allows potential buyers to get a sense of the space, giving them an experience that feels almost like being there in person.

“Is AI video a downgrade from traditional filming?”

This question is often heard from realtors encountering this topic for the first time. The answer is clear: considering AI video a “budget” version of a “normal” video — or any kind of compromise — is a huge mistake. I never thought I’d write this, but today here’s my honest opinion: I think AI video is even better. It’s cheaper than a traditional one, but even if they were priced the same, I would always choose AI video if I were a realtor.

To the untrained eye, AI video looks like a regular real estate video, but with incredibly beautiful color reproduction. Most viewers outside the visual media realm won’t even realize it’s AI. And those who do? They won’t think much of it — AI is everywhere now, and nobody is surprised anymore. If some videos show houses falling from the sky, day instantly turning into night, furniture appearing out of nowhere, walls moving apart, and realtors flying like birds (the perfect way to create a video that entertains, but doesn’t sell), then our traditional, solemn, soothing-style videos created by AI certainly have a right to exist.

Less “AI-like” than many human-recorded videos

Here’s a quote from the article The Goal of Real Estate Video Is to Spark Interest, which discusses traditional video:

“Buying a home is an emotional purchase, so residential real estate video is not informational — it’s aspirational and sells emotion and lifestyle. And the most powerful tools here are simple, short camera moves: gentle push-ins, pull-outs, left-right slides. Occasionally… an orbiting around a nice detail, or a subtle vertical move. What works best on the viewer’s subconscious are elegant, restrained movements paired with beautiful music, sometimes enhanced with a touch of parallax – when objects in the foreground (a flower pot, a chair, a door frame or a kitchen island) move faster than the background, which enhances the effect of presence. I once read a great line: a real estate video should feel like a photo gallery that has slightly come to life. No confusing, rapidly flickering motion, and no long walks through the house – only calm, mesmerizing movements… From simplicity comes elegance. From elegance, desire. And from desire, the final signature on the purchase agreement.”

The referenced article unintentionally describes the ideal human-made real estate video in a way that strongly resembles what AI creates. AI video doesn’t “feel like” a photo gallery that has slightly come to life — it IS that!

For its measured, intentional style, video made from photos is not lesser than traditional video, to put it mildly.

AI creates parallax motion that looks just like the real thing — always with a perfectly stable image, regardless of the operator’s skill. And the already mentioned cinematic transitions and scene changes synced to the music make it hard to distinguish AI video from traditional video (again, if you are not a media production professional).

If you think AI video lacks dynamism, it doesn’t — as you can easily verify by watching the videos at the end of the article. In fact, our AI videos are more dynamic than many camera-made works. It may sound funny, but human-shot video often looks more “AI-ish” than AI video (example)!

Higher dynamic range

One more quote from our FAQ, this time about photos rather than videos. It’s essential for a point I want to make:

“What is the HDR technology you use for photos?

In regular photos, details in very dark and very bright areas get lost due to a camera’s limited dynamic range. HDR (High Dynamic Range) solves this by taking multiple shots of the same scene at different exposures, which are then merged. Normally exposed shots form the base. Underexposed shots capture bright details (windows, lamps, chandelier pieces) that would otherwise be just white spots. Overexposed shots reveal shadow details that would otherwise be just black spots, and emphasize wood grain and upholstery textures. The result exceeds the human eye’s dynamic range, making photos look magically beautiful. Most real estate photographers take three shots — bright, normal, and dark. But we take five — very bright, bright, normal, dark, and very dark. That amplifies the effect. Today, HDR is the industry standard. But this alone is not enough — the unique quality of OUR photographs lies in how the HDR images, created by merging shots with different exposures, are then edited.”

HDR technology is only for still photography. In traditional video, each frame captures just one exposure’s dynamic range; you can’t stop the camera on each frame to capture it 3 times. Some details can be recovered in editing, but it’s still not as captivating as true magically looking HDR photos.

You can see where this is going: AI video fully inherits the HDR look from its source photos. In that aspect, AI video is unbeatable. Even with high-quality editing, traditional video struggles to match this result — especially with windows, which are often “foggy” or even blown out to white — whereas in AI video, windows are always vivid and impressive.

Quicker to produce

Firstly, AI video eliminates the need for additional shooting time, which can be important for realtors who attend the photo session, waiting for the photographer to finish work; and if someone is living in the home, they’ll be disturbed for less time.

Secondly, you’ll get your video the next day along with the photos, instead of one or two days later. So if you go on MLS tomorrow, potential buyers subscribed to that area will see your property with the video right away.

Same practical result for less money

Will AI video prevent a buyer from booking a showing, especially when most listings lack any video at all? The answer is clear. Even if you order a more costly traditional video from us, it won’t help sell the property more than AI video.
